Dozing Donkeys

Baby donkeys are called foals, a female donkeys is called a Jenny and a male donkey is called a Jack.

They lived in Sherborne country show and they eat grass, hay, grains and vegetables.

These badges are what the donkeys won, there are seven badges that the donkeys won.

That's the male eating grass.

Penguin post

These are my photos of penguins.

Penguins usually live in the South Pole and they eat fish and they cannot fly.

They use their wings to swim. Penguins have incredibly sharp teeth. 

 They spend most of their life in the water. 

 Their nests are made from grass pebbles and feathers. 

A group of baby penguins is called a creche. 

The eggs take 34-35 days to hatch. A baby penguin is called a chick.

Groups of penguins are called colonies.

I saw these penguins on the Isle of Wight. 

They are called Humboldt penguins. 

  I gave them fish to eat. I threw it into the water for them. 

Wallaby Wobble

I have taken some photos of wallabies.

Wallabies live in Australia,  but I found these wallabies in England . 

• Male wallabies are called boomers and females are called flyers. 
• A group of wallabies is called a mob.  
• Wallabies eat plants and grass. Wallabies live in trees, woods and land. 
• They bounce up and down like kangaroos.

• A baby wallaby is called a joey and a joey can stay in its mother's pouch for 130-150 days. 
• When joeys are 150 days old they leave their mother's pouch and bounce the same as the other wallabies.
